Historical Timeline Notes on Bay City area Trombleys.
- 1820 - Joseph visits the valley traveling from Detroit by turnpike road to Royal Oak, by wagon road to Pontiac, then Indian trails to Saginaw.
- 1832 - Leon settles in the Lower Saginaw (along river near Fourth st. of what is now Bay City).
- 1834 - On Aug. 13, Joseph and Medor file land patent in Detroit for property and settle in area that is now 24th & Water in Bay City. They build a log-cabin with intentions of selling goods to local Indians and fur-traders. (Joseph previously worked for American Fur Co. in Saginaw.)
- 1836 - Benoit purchases portion of property owned by nephews, Joseph and Medor.
- 1837/38 - Joseph and Medor build framed house. (Considered first frames structure here.)
- 1837 - Joseph marries Sophia Chapaton of Detroit.
- 1840 - Theresa marries Daniel Chapel (her 2nd spouse) in Lower Saginaw (Bay City).
- 1845 - James McCormick purchases the Trombley house (aka: Center House).
- 1847 - Medor marries Sarah McCormick in Lower Saginaw. Wedding is performed by Fr. Richard in the home of Capt. Joseph Marsac, a local government agent. Celebrations took place at the Center House (now owned by James McCormick).
- 1863 - Daniel Trombley, saloon, Water bet. 10th and 11th, listed in Michigan Gazetteer Businewss Directory.
- 1867 - J. Trombley builds barge for "Alex, Trombley & Co." Sank btwn. Charity Islands & Caseville, MI.
- 1885 - Theophilus moves to Bay City from New York and sets up machine shop business.
- 1971 - Trombley House is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
- 1981 - Trombley House is moved from its historical east side location to Veterans Memorial Park on west bank of Saginaw River.

Peter Tremble(Trombley/Tremblay)
- Peter was born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada in 1831 to French parents. In about 1855-58, he married Mary Jane Green of Oswego, NY. In 1868, they moved to Bay City, MI and they are buried in the Green Ridge Cemetery.
