    THE NEW CEMETERY.
    _______

Mr. Edward Eickemeyer has lately purchased several acres of land on the Bay City and Tuscola plank road, south of Twelfth street, nearly opposite the Pine Ridge Cemetery, which he is now clearing and laying out for a new Cemetery. If the man who longed for a lodgment in some vast wilderness is not dead yet, this spot will probably suit him, for it has as yet, neither "a local habitation nor a name."

    to Spanish War Vets.
