1940 Bay City School Histories
School histories that appeared in Saturday editions of The Bay City Times.
  • Contributed by Clarence and Gladys (Weide) Stroemer from the Scrapbook Collection of Freida Stroemer.

  • In 1940 The Bay City Times newspaper ran a series articles relating to the history of Bay City's schools, which was published on Saturdays.

Most these articles identify the principals of each school from their beginning until 1940, and many names of teachers are included.

The Menu for this series of articles is listed alphabetically by the schools name, which is not the sequence followed when they published the newspaper. You can follow the original sequencing by click "NEXT" icon at the bottom of each page.
