Bay City General Pictorial

The first white settlers came here the 1830s. Bay City was known then as Lower Saginaw due to it's close proximity to the Saginaw settlement of 1816. The Saginaw River runs through the heart of Bay City and in recent history has slowly change from industrial to non-industrial uses. Where possible, the photos are sequenced by street and number.
