Bay County has a wide variety and a large number of parks for enjoying outside activities. Many take advantage of natural assets and most include picnic facilties and a playgrounds area for kids. Bikers can take the Rail Trail to many of these parks. The largest park is Veterans Memorial Park along the west bank of the Saginaw River in Bay City. The following is a list of parks presently in this pictorial:

  1. Bigelow Park - Middles Grounds, north of Lafayette Bridge.
  2. Birney Park - East Side, Madison ave., north of McKinley.
  3. Carroll Park - East Side, Park ave., south of Center Ave.
  4. Defoe & Infinity Park - Marquette, east of railroad tracks
  5. Euclid Linear Park - West Side, Euclid avenue, south of Salzburg.
  6. Hewitt Park - East Side, Johnson, south of 22nd st.
  7. Nate Doan Park - West Side, north of Wenona, south of Midland.
  8. Roosevelt Park - East Side, on Broadway just south of Cass.
  9. Wenonah Park - East Side, Water st., foot of Center ave.

    Townships:
  10. Hampton Township Park - Finn Rd, n. off Center Road.
