The River of Time is sponsored by the Bay County Historical Society and is made possible through donations and the support of many volunteers.

The "free" event is held annually on a weekend during September at the Veterans Memorial Park. The park which stretches along the banks of the Saginaw River is an ideal setting for a living history encampment created by hundreds of reenactors from various parts of U.S.A and Canada.
