Bay City: July 15-17, 2007

Bay County was organized in 1857. It geographical was created from portions of Midland and Saginaw counties, and all of Arenac county. Prior to this villages of "Lower Saginaw (Bay City)" and Portsmouth were attached to Hampton Township of Saginaw County.

Several 150th anniversary celebration activities were held with the largest taking place on the weekend of July 15-17, in downtown Bay City.
