The goals of Bay-Journal are:
To "put Bay County's history online" so this information is easily available to anyone with an internet connection and an interest in our history.
To "influence groups, businesses and families" with websites to establish a detailed history section of their own, and to share it on Bay-Journal as well.
To "be an internet portal of information" to, for and about Bay County.
To "provide viewers with an enjoyable experience" with informative content that avoids
annoying "pop-up" ads associated with many "free" services.
Bay-Journal is designed to be an interactive web site. Therefore, we encourage and seek participation from viewers to help build content and sponsors to support our presence on the internet. Also, we invite local groups, organizations, schools and other entities to join us towards creating a valuable community resource for everyone.
